Marines aren’t always known for their great compassion. I’m glad this story came out.

Really? Because when I go over to the MP’s office on post, there are always Marines there.

The Marines, both male and female, have the highest alcohol consumption of all the branches of service, according to the National Institute for Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. Shit is always on blotter reports on my post every weekend for drunk Marines, and this is an Army post. I have friends who are Marines, and even they admit that the number vs the other services in staggering.

I honestly don’t know much shit about the army, and I don’t really care, but I feel like your not even in the military at all and your just getting all your info online or your just some pog boot reservist who’s just looking for attention

That whole “marines haven’t any compassion” mindset is from too much television. The guys I deployed with were awesome, nothing like you see on TV. A good friend of mine’s name is on that flag. Proud to know him.
