Cross off another ISIS leader at the hands of the United States of America. The latest to be killed by the U.S. military is Abd ar-Rahman Mustafa al-Qaduli, who happens to be second in command of the extremist group, and was killed during an operation targeting ISIS positions in Syria.

From USA Today:

Abd ar-Rahman Mustafa al-Qaduli, a senior religious leader for the terrorist group, was killed in an operation in Syria, said the official who was not authorized to speak publicly about the attack. He went by the alias Haji Imam. The U.S. had a $7 million bounty on his head.

Since the attack wasn’t an airstrike, there is a distinct possibility that American troops are behind the death. Just another reason that no matter how confident you think you are in taking on American soldiers, you’ll get domed.

The Pentagon confirmed that we are responsible death in a press conference this morning.

Since it wasn’t a bomb that killed that little fucker I would say no it doesnt fall into the “bombing the shit out of them” category.

Very interesting how this happens days after Obama criticized (rightfully) over going to a baseball game in Cuba rather than returning home after Brussel’s attack.

Always great to hear; precision killed by an invisible force. The only armed forces I support sending over there are the highly specialized and flawless units guided by near-perfect intel. Otherwise, keep the drones flying.

No. It was a kill shot from rotary aircraft, I’m not able to elaborate further. They’re not ‘drones’ FYI. They’re Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and they’re NOT better than a manned aircraft or a trigger puller. You have no idea how much it pains me to have to keep quiet as this is my chain of command. But the whole no strategy as a strategy isn’t the varsity team playbooks best option. But I’m stoked for y’all to one day see the kill cam footage:). Boom.
