Matches are classier than a lighter when it comes to cigars, keep torching the flavor out of your swisher sweets, the rest of us will enjoy our good cigars and nice move this post.

Yeah, not sure how many times I need to clear this up. Cedar spills, BUTANE LIGHTERS, and matches are all appropriate means of lighting cigars. Butane lighters are fine because they burn hot enough not to add a “flavor” to your cigar. A bic or zippo however is unacceptable (these will taste like lighter fluid). Trust me on this one fellas. I know the presidents of a majority of the major brands and they use butane lighters all the time. The real point is to enjoy the cigar and kick back for a little bit. Happy smoking.

I hope you don’t need more than one match… not only is that NF but pretty pathetic.

Except for the fact that you should use three dumbass.
First two matches to slowly warm it up without burning it, then the third to completely light it.
