Go die. Someone in your family had to be the first to go to college as well. If you can’t respect the American dream then maybe you should move to the Middle East.
Of course we respect the american dream and its great to start a new family legacy. With that said don’t pretend like 95 percent of the kids who say this are not geeds
I was the first in my family to attend college and still managed to pay the tuition and my dues, no student loans, on top of having enough money to blow whenever. You think just because you come from a long line of old money you have been blessed with a divine right to be the superior fraternity man, and that’s fine, keep on thinking that way. But just realize that every once in a while, one of the “poors” actual works his ass off to not only get a bid from a respectable fraternity, but pay the dues and still have the drive to go to class and get a degree. I’ve been poor my whole life, but still managed to dress well and graduate high school with a 4.0 and a 32 ACT. I’m working towards my international business degree, and i’ve made my own connections and became my own success. So don’t ever underestimate the “poors” you love to shit on.
^Having the money to blow whenever. TFM. Although if you had to pay your own tuition and dues I’m imagining your wallet is pretty tight after that 3rd or 4th ball.
^^^You actually just bragged about your standardized test scores? I have a feeling you’re still in high school buddy. That’s like telling your boss you aced organic chemistry. Nobody gives a fuck.
That was a really touching story, and I appreciate you giving yourself a nice pat on the back. You’re so special!!! Seriously, this is a comedy site. And a large part of fraternity life is affluence.
Then judge me because I am the first in my (immediate) family to go to college. Both my parents have worked incredibly hard to afford me the opportunities they didn’t have and it only motivates me to work even harder and be more successful, to repay them their trust in my intelligence and work ethic. In summation, I judge people who judge others for being from humble beginnings. So go fist yourself you spoiled brat.
Calm the fuck down. This is a COMEDY website that plays on the “frat” stereotype. That includes the whole snobby rich asshole thing. I understand your point, and I respect where you come from, but try not to get so worked up over TFM.
Yeah you’re right I probably went overboard, especially with the last sentence. But my point still stands- this wonderful country of ours was built and made great by ambitious people from humble origins.
