I’ve heard that for six years now….and guess what snowflake, LSU, bama, UGA, AU and SC are all young and will get better. Grit your teeth and prepare for another year or more of hegemony.

^ No. Because with teams like Michigan, USC, Florida State, and Miami coming back up…the SEC is fucked like they used to be. Alabama will always be good but teams like LSU, Georgia, Florida, SC, etc. all have their spurts. SEC will not win the championship next year.

14 years ago at 4:56 pm
    3. ^bet you said that last year too fucktard.. and i’ll give you one thing, an SEC team will lose the championship this year for the first time in more than half a decade

^^ Dumb fucks like you are funny to argue football with. You think cause you go to an SEC school (if you do) you know football when you don’t know shit about ANY sport other than maybe the special olympics. But no, I said the championship this year would be Oklahoma and Alabama…at least I got one right. Your dumb fucking ass probably thought it would be Auburn again.

14 years ago at 6:15 pm
    6. haha calm down sasquatch, i dont know shit about the special olympics… and I do go to an SEC school and one of them is in the championship… so no, I didnt pick Auburn cheesdick

Congrats on getting into either LSU or Alabama, two schools any high school kid in America with DECENT grades could get into.

Also two schools with fucking awesome football teams and fine ass women everywhere. ^Fucking idiot.

^ There is about 10 other programs that can say the same thing dumb fuck. Those 10 other programs can also say they have better academics. I’m not knocking on LSU or Alabama on there athletics. They’re both top notch. Im knocking on the dumb inbreds like you that think they know college football or sports in general because of how good their football team is.

14 years ago at 8:59 pm
    10. ^this fucking idiot has no argument… we are talking about academics now?… that’s all you have on the SEC… not even valid… act your age dumbass

Go ahead make a big deal over some coal miners that played Louisville, USF, and Syracuse year after year or over some horny chodes whose competition has been extremely weak as well. Big 12 will always be inferior to the SEC in football. Who are your powerhouse teams? Texas? Oklahoma? Oklahoma St.? Only Oklahoma State did anything worth shit this year, and they’re gonna suck ass next year! 4 of the top 6 vegas picks to win the nat’l championship next year are in the SEC. The SEC has a 100% chance to win the nat’l chamiopnship this year. If any of you think that the Big 12 will be on the same playing field and the SEC because of this expansion, then you are an ignorant piece of shit.

The sec took 3 steps down just by adding A+M. It made them look desperate and they will regret it in a few years.

      1. I don’t think anyone is arguing that the Big East is a good football conference. But the Big East was just 2-3 vs. the SEC this year, which isn’t terrible.

      2. The Big XII, top to bottom, was stronger than the SEC in 2011. Don’t try to tell me Arkansas was worth much either.

      3. No shit there’s a 100% chance; that’s what happens when the media pimps a conference based on its past successes, not its current overall mediocrity. Alabama didn’t play anyone this year except LSU, and they lost.

      4. WVU and TCU are better football additions than Mizzou and A&M. Fact. Addition by subtraction for the Big XII moving forward.

“Go ahead make a big deal over some coal miners that played Louisville, USF, and Syracuse year after year or over some horny chodes whose competition has been extremely weak as well.” I’m pretty sure that approaches the subject of the post…dumbass

Sorry I didnt feel like reading your fucking novel. WVU is now 3-0 in BCS bowls including a win over UGA in the Sugar Bowl. TCU won the rose bowl last year and has been to more BCS games than A+M and Missouri combined. And if they’re not a big deal, why was the SEC trying to add WVU last year?

14 years ago at 2:46 pm
    5. GrizzlyFratams

^Agreed. The SEC has LSU, Alabama and Arkansas. Every other team just lives in those teams shadows. All around the Big 12 is better. Yeah, maybe ESPN doesn’t say so, but they have a damn contract with the SEC.

I forgot losing to the number 1 and 2 teams in the nation made you bad. Just wait until tomorrow when Arkansas makes k-state their little Sandusky shower toys.

    8. five_fratpples

Texas as a state is compared to the entire SEC as a whole…that is sad. Texas and Oklahoma are two of the top programs of all time along with USC, Michigan, and Notre Dame based on all time wins, heismans, championships, and prestige.

The Big East is glad to get rid of the Broke Back Mountaineers. They are a bunch of toothless, cousin lovers. May I remind you College Football “fans” that the Mountaineers were beat by a team that finished 7-6 on their HOME field?? I’m talking about the University of Louisville. You know, the team the idiots in the Big 12 looked over. WVU is overrated. Look at who they lost to in the Big East. Louisville (at home) and they were CRUSHED by Syracuse… The worst team in Big East football with a record of 1-6 in the Big East.
I saw this on “Top Funny Tweets” and I HAD to comment. It is funny because WVU will get their asses handed to them next football season. OH… And on their Orange Bowl win. Congrats. You blew out a sub par ACC team. I bet you feel real proud. It was never a game to begin with. At least Cincy or Louisville could have at least brought, not only a TON of fans, but a good game worth watching.
PS This website has always been a joke.

I forgot to add… WVU will get their asses handed to them in the Big 12 next season if the lawsuit they are currently involved in with the Big East goes in their favor.

    2. Brobodan Milosevic

^This bra burning lesbian is mad. Hanging 70 points on the team that won the ACC is pretty impressive. Also, please proofread your posts and if this website is and has always been a joke, don’t post or put your in two cents of bullshit. Susie rotten crotch is probably a butthurt Loserville fan. Clemson handled VT and VT lost. WVU has been the face of the Big East for years. Stop crying and go eat your Ben and Jerry’s.

PS sigma kappa sucks you fat cow.

3 teams leaving your piss-poor excuse for a conference because of how unstable it is: TFTC?

Syracuse, WVU and Pitt are leaving… Woo hoo. Look at who the Big East is gaining…
Boise St. — Football powerhouse finished ranked 6th this year.
Houston — Finished the season ranked 17th.
      SMU
      UCF
      San Diego St.
I think the Big East will be perfectly fine. It’s not like we took THAT big of a loss on the teams leaving… In football that is. And really the only basketball powerhouse leaving is Syracuse.
Clearly, the Big East came out ahead on this deal.

Syracuse isn’t really a “powerhouse” in basketball. Look at their schedule. They’ve played one ranked team which was ranked number 9 and barely won.

14 years ago at 2:49 pm
    3. GrizzlyFratams

3 teams leaving because they can’t keep up with Texas and about to be OU getting their own TV deal.

^^Number one team in the nation isn’t a powerhouse? Doesn’t matter the schedule, 16-0 is a hell of a record in basketball.

The longhorn network helps them with recruiting and it brings them more money than other teams get. They were showing high school games of recruits they wanted until they got told not to.

Grizz I respect that they are unbeaten but the fact they played so close to a #9 seed and only won by 4 points makes me question them. I was raised a Tarheel fan and not like one of those bandwaggoners who just wear their hats and jerseys cause”it’s cool.” I just believe that the top three are Kentucky, UNC, and Ohio state.

I think Utah joining the Pac 12 show us that mid-majors joining major conferences are a joke. 4-5 in conference play, 7-5 regular season. TCU and WVU can not handle a major conference schedule every week.
