Former Baylor Linebacker Perfectly Trolls TCU Waitress With Tip
If you’ve met anyone who is a Baylor Bear supporter, you know they’re quick to point out the fact that they beat TCU 61-58 last season. They fully believe that they are the Big 12 champs because of the outcome of that game, and won’t stop talking about it. Hell, they even made sure to put 61 and 58 next to each other during the team photo.

When Eddie Lackey, the former linebacker, went to Del Frisco’s over the weekend, he was graced with a waitress who went to TCU. Being the troll that he is, he gave her a tip to remind her of the team’s victory from last season.
Couldn't resist once we found out our waitress was a TCU grad. #BGOD pic.twitter.com/KkhA9xwAcf

Who really got the last laugh here? Lackey is rocking a CFL salary while she’s raking in a fat tip. Now, I’ve been to Del Frisco’s more than a few times (it’s good, not great though — hit up Al Biernat’s for an excellent steak) so it’s entirely possible that the tip was 20% of the entire bill. My guess is that Lackey and a few others were at the dinner, and could easily have had a $307.90 bill.
Much like naming a true Big 12 champion, it’s really tough to decide who actually won here…but give me TCU by a touchdown this November..

She’s a college grad and is working as a waitress. Even if he is only in the cfl i would still say he won this battle.
10 years ago at 12:47 pmIt’s really depressing how common it is these days. Underemployment should be talked about more. THANKS OBAMA
10 years ago at 1:18 pmYou can fuck right off, hippie.
10 years ago at 1:23 pmHow about you both lace ’em up.
10 years ago at 6:51 pmWhat’s “unemployment”?
10 years ago at 7:30 pmWhy does Baylor care his much about TCU? At least TCU won their bowl game. Seriously Baylor, yall won by a field goal at home…nothing worth continually showing your ass over.
However a TCU grad working as a waitress isn’t a good look for their university. I expect that from TXST grads, but not from TCU.
10 years ago at 1:07 pmYou can’t just throw in a shot like that at TXST, they are the drunk cousin that everyone likes.
10 years ago at 1:21 pmI go to TXST. So yes I know first hand.
10 years ago at 1:23 pmto be fair, Del Frisco’s is one of the best restaurants in Fort Worth
10 years ago at 1:54 pmThe reason they do it is because the Big XII decided to name Baylor and TCU co-conference champs, even though Baylor should have won it outright since they had the same record as TCU (11-1) as well as the the head-to-head.
10 years ago at 8:43 pmThanks for clearing that up for us, chief.
10 years ago at 7:01 amRemember that time Baylor won a big bowl game? Me neither.
10 years ago at 1:44 pmNot surprised a TCU grad is a waitress.
10 years ago at 6:11 pmNotice how there is no total bill so, wonder wonder if this is good or bad tip…. I’m guessing it’s not good since he blacked out total and it’s not a cheap place.
10 years ago at 9:47 pmShe probably makes way more at the restaurant than a career starting salary.
