im an OU alum and frankly i despise the SEC, but i read an article that the Texas governing body has informed the HS coaching association that SEC recruiting shenigans will not be tolerated with A&M. apparently it is an understood rule amongst the coaching fraternity that coaches virtually have carte blanche in in-state recruiting. they can do whatever they want to “entice” their in-state players and the other coaches wont say a peep. However if an out-of-state school attempts to do these same thing in their state than it is an agregious offense. I guess spurrier got very angry at auburn for crossing these rules while he was at Florida.
You do realize you are from Oklahoma don’t you?

13 years ago at 11:52 amYou realize how dumb this looks don’t you? Just make it the state your school is in and you won’t look like a complete jackass.
