The poorest I've been was for 12 hours when my money clip demagnetized my credit cards. TFM.

Not if it is magnetic. The amount of exposure will determine whether or not the card strip will demagnetize. It may be hours or even longer of sitting near the magnet (without being taken away), but a good portion of magnets will demagnetize

I’ve been there myself and it was fucking tragic. Didn’t know what to do with myself. Then I looked at some GDIs and realized that I was okay.

Agreed. Money clips are as geed as it gets. Might as well be a velcro wallet.

No man, you’re right, carrying a money clip so you can show how much money you have on you at all times is NF… Every successful middle aged man has a money clip. It’s a bit more classy.

I agree bother, but please never use the word “hood rat” again.

Monogrammed money clips and card holders are the only way to do it. Every GDI has a wallet and every hoodrat has a rubberband.

T & Co. monogrammed silver money clips will never demagnetize your cards, sounds like it is time for an upgrade.

Myth Busters did a show about this. Myth is busted. Credit cards don’t become demagnetized by wallets or money clips.

a magnetic money clip will do so, but if Fratterson hood was a true frat star he would have carried a silver nonmagnetic money clip not a cheap one that will ruin your credit and debit cards
