Craft Beer Company Wants Peyton Manning To Stop Drinking Budweiser
Along with winning the Super Bowl this past Sunday, Peyton Manning also divulged to the public that he has the beer preferences of a broke college student. The 39-year-old quarterback shamelessly replied to the question “What are you going to do next” by announcing to the masses, “I’m going to drink a lot of Budweiser tonight.”
While the majority of the college community instantly felt a sense of connection with The Sheriff, most likely due to the fact that they themselves were double-fisting two Buds at the time of his comments. One group in particular who promotes various craft beers, The Brewers Association, took exception to his comments. Their solution? Write Peyton a letter outlining their disappointment in his brew choices and send him send him a shitload of free beer.

While only time will tell if the five-time MVP can shy away from his light beer fixation, something tells me that Peyton’s off-season, and possibly retirement, is off to a pretty good start..

Also, Anheuser-Busch is buying up popular micro-breweries all over the world in order to run the business into the ground and redirect beer focus to shit beers like bud heavy and bud light. In their recent years, beer sales have stagnated and they’re trying to buy out the competition.
Now, what you do with this information is up to you, but if you like your microbrewed beers, let them know not to give in to “the man.”
