The Midwest: Fratting harder every day just because you think we can't. TFM.

Plains states or the heartland would be better. Don’t get us mixed up with people from Ohio or Minnesota.

I don’t see any school in the south being called the “Mother of Fraternities” respect is one of the key attributes of truly having class. Kansas you all may have a decent size greek life but it doesn’t touch Miami. I am for one sick of people from the south calling the midwest/north NF, this is where most frats/sororities came from. With the exception of Virginia no other state has had more influence on frats/sororities than Ohio. We all just do it differently I am from the south so I can say first hand both north & south have pockets(not cargo of course) that are FaF. All I am asking is that we all have a little more respect for all greeks because when it comes down to it at least we’re not GDI’s Frat on Gentlemen!

MiamiGent, just because a lot of fraternities started in the north and midwest, doesn’t make it fratty. a lot started up there because back then, the south didn’t focus on college as much as the rest of the nation. but now, the south is the frattiest area in America

frattin’ like my daddy, so you’re trying to give credit to the south at being the best at something the north first implemented? That’s just as bad as the south claiming to make all their frat attire like Vineyard Vines look better even though it’s founded in the north. Kill yourself.

haha people’s complete lack of a sense of Irony and ability to detect sarcasm on here is both funny and depressing.

Its not that people can’t detect sarcasm but the fact that some people are trying way too hard to be frat and are always trying to sound like a frat star by calling someone a GDI.

I don’t think more than two words in that entire comment were actual english. 1337speak/ebonics/internet retardedness is incredibly NF. Even just saying “OG” means you are trying WAY too hard.

man i really want to burn down all your corn fields and shit on your wrestling mats. even Rudy was a geed.

    1. Hoosier Nation

Of course Rudy was a Geed. His school doesn’t even have a greek system. Rest of the midwest is FaF

    1. Where's my lunch?

I think you mean especially Missouri, GDI. The Universities of Kansas and Missouri have huge Greek systems, and both get the majority of their students from Kansas City and St. Louis.

    2. James B. Frattin

Nebraska having a huge greek system FaF. Being one of the most conservative states ever. TFM.

    3. william fratner

try finding anything more FaF than St. Pats at Missouri S&T in the midwest. it is the 4th or 5th largest St. Patricks Day party in the entire state. combine that with a traditionally extremely conservative campus, 25% greek affiliation, and a whole-ly practical education (engineering < liberal arts by a LONG shot) and you have an extremely fratty midwest school. YITBOS.

i’m sorry, i was posting drunk. I meant our St. Pats celebration is the 4th or 5th largest in the COUNTRY and have been doing it for 103 years now.

    1. Broden

Yeah, I think it’s safe to say we don’t really claim them as part of the midwest.

14 years ago at 2:29 pm
    2. Brolysses S. Grant

MU’s Greek system is huge, and legit, definitely bigger than kU, OU, OSU and a lot more. It’s probably bigger than some of the supposedly amazing Greek systems in the south, also no, it’s not full of geeds. We are FaF.

The midwest is NF. The southeast is the only fratty region in the United States. I don’t care if people in the north are rich, you still live in the north.

You’re a dumbass. The South is basically a third world country, I’ll stay in the Midwest.
