Disturbing 7-Year-Old YouTube Video Goes Viral, Missing Girl’s Cold Case Reopened As Result

In August of 2009, Kayla Berg went out with a friend in Wisconsin before being dropped off outside her boyfriend’s home. She has been missing ever since.

Two months after her disappearance, on October 11, 2009, the below video was posted to YouTube. (It got pulled down and has subsequently been uploaded to LiveLeak.)

That’s some shit straight out of a horror film.

Because the internet is an endless wasteland filled with creepy garbage, the video somehow didn’t go viral until recently. It’s October 11, 2016. That’s exactly seven years for all the mathematicians out there.

As a result of the disturbing video’s recent virility, the Antigo Police Department has reopened the cold case regarding the disappearance of Kayla Berg with the psycho in the video obviously being the main suspect.

First off, $100 says Walter doesn’t exist. Walter is almost definitely “Patrick’s” imaginary internet friend or one of his many split personalities.

Second, whether or not “Patrick” actually did kidnap Kayla Berg, he should still be committed to a mental institution after being found. Dude is clearly unhinged. Vlogging on YouTube for any reason should be a crime, especially if you’re communicating with a man named Walter, real or fake.

Lastly, if you’ve seen or know “Patrick” (he’s likely working at a Cinnabon in a mall somewhere), call the police at 715-627-6411 because homey needs to be spoken to.

UPDATE: After further investigation, the Antigo Police Department has identified the video as fake and ruled out any connection to Kayla Berg’s disappearance. On one hand, this is comforting for everyone who watched it, because the video was way more fucking terrifying with the possibility of being real. On two other hands, it sucks balls, because Kayla’s family is back to having no idea what happened to her, and some chubby actor’s life just got super awkward because a shitload of people think he’s a kidnapping killer.

Also: You should seriously consider throwing an additional “warning: graphic content” heads up before the video. I was not prepared for that and shit like this can really affect people. Call me a pussy, downvote this, whatever, just my two cents.

In the criminal justice system, sexually based offenses are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit. These are their stories.

Looks a little too fucked up to be fake, you can see blood on the door frame in the basement and buying a lock for the outside of the door for a shitty prank vid seems a little excessive

If this is real and once this guy is caught, every American should get to take their best shot at this disgrace.

I was reading a theory on Reddit “Walter,” who this creepfuck addresses in the video, was known serial killer in the same area at the time, which makes the video that much more disturbing.
