Drake Rolls Into University Of Texas In Kentucky Gear, Gets Shat On By Fans

Drake paid a visit to the University of Texas at Austin on Monday while in town for a concert. But when he walked into the university basketball facility decked out in blue Kentucky gear from head to toe, a crowd of students met him with a less-than-warm reception.

That’s just cold, Drake. Love that one girl’s heartbroken reaction: “WHAT!?” Pretty sure another girl shouted “FAAAAAKE!” The UT women’s basketball team didn’t seem to mind, though. They were acting like they just won the lottery and found a cure for cancer at the same time.

UT students also took to Twitter to express their disappointment:

On one hand, I respect Drake for sticking by his team even while venturing into enemy territory. If he wore the colors of every school he visited, people would eventually call him out for being a pandering toolbag. But at the same time, the guy is a notorious bandwagoner. He threw his support behind Texas A&M only when Johnny Football was dominating the field. Even worse, the Canadian rapper abandoned his Toronto Raptors for the Heat when they won the championship in 2013, and was seen partying with the team at a club after the victory.

The man is constantly jumping ship for winning teams. He did it with UK soccer, too, showing support for both Manchester United and Manchester City — two rival teams with fans that literally murder each other after big games. When people connected the dots, “YOSO — You Only Support One,” Drake memes started making the rounds:

The Longhorns are going to have to greatly improve upon their 20-13 record from last season if they want any love from Drake. But who needs him? Bandwagoners are the sluts of sports fandom. Drizzy ain’t loyal..
