Each state being able to take on a country. TFM.

Probably with Texas if they could take on two fronts because if Connecticut can take on Ukraine I don’t see a reason why they couldn’t.

http://www.globalfirepower.com/ Browse this site. Lots of great numbers. Russia’s army is arguably the most powerful, but their navy and air force are pitiful in comparison to the US (they only have 1 aircraft carrier, US has 20). Sorry Texas, but you probably couldn’t take Russia alone/

You do realize Texas has a Navy, Army, and Airforce of its own that only answers to its Governor.

No. The Texas National Guard is separate from the Army Reserves. One is funded federally, one is funded by the state. The Army Reserves can’t be called up by the governor, whereas the Guard can.

But, you are correct in that there is a Texas Guard. Texas has three branches called the Texas Military Forces. Texas Guard, National Guard and Air Guard.

Negative champ. You are thinking of the US reserves. Not the same as the Texas Military. “Dipshit”. Other states may have Militias but nobody has a Full 3 branch military on the level of Texas.

So what you’re saying history would repeat itself and Russia would win. That’s a real bummer cotton.

The irony that the deepest blue state in the country matches militarily to our biggest competitor.

California isn’t the deepest blue state in America. On balance it votes Democrat but not to the lopsided degree you see in places like Massachussets, New York, Rhode Island, Maryland, etc. Places like San Diego, Orange County, and the central valley are actually pretty conservative.

Wouldn’t be so quick to add Maryland to that list. They just elected a Republican Governor, Larry Hogan. Times are a changin, lots of traditionally blue states are finally seeming to wake up.

It’s more like the cities: Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, and San Francisco are very liberal. Where as suburban and the central valley are pretty conservative. No matter how I say this it’s going to sound racist, but cities tend to attract the poor and minorities, and that is where you get your liberal shitstorms.

I know spewing bullshit out of your ass might be easier for you than it would to formulate an educated opinion, but San Diego is not liberal, let alone VERY liberal. The Republicans have carried that county in every presidential election besides Clinton’s first term and both of Obama’s. As a San Diegan, I can assure you that this county will not make the same mistake in 2016, even if Sarah Palin or Brigham Young himself is on the ticket.

You are actually completely right, a quick google search just shit all over me. However most of California cities are liberal as fuck and it sucks. My bad!

New Mexico does hold the majority of nuclear weapons but definitely not all. That would be a huge strategic miscalculation.

Nevada has about 60% of the nukes, champ. But most of them are “disabled” and don’t get considered in firepower counts.

Pretty sure one of those Trident submarines at St. Mary’s in Georgia could take out most countries.

How about GA with the subs hook up with Shaw Air Force/Army base in SC, and we take out the Russians and the fucking chinamen?
