      theres no mistake in calling it a fraternity- women’s fraternities include at least one male founder. the term sorority wasnt even used until the second half of the 20th century.

      Actually Phi Mu and ADPi are both womens fraternities and neither of them had any male founders. Even though there are honorary male members in Phi Mu at least such as Robert E Lee.
