Father Of The Year Records 5 Minutes Of Middle School Kids Busting Their Asses On Ice

I have no clue who this guy is, nor do I remember who shared this on my Facebook newsfeed during the weekend, but the following clip is hilarious and oh so totally cruel all in the same facet.

To set the scene, this guy just arrived to pick up his daughter from what I presume to be a middle school. They live in a place where there’s a ton of snow and ice lingering on the ground. Waiting for his daughter to exit from her scholarly pursuits, it appears he’s doing what we all do when we get bored: playing with his smartphone. Then, he just so happens to notice a large patch of ice conveniently nestled right on the path kids begin taking as they exit the school.

What does he do? Get out and warn the kids there’s a latent hazard that could lead to them busting their asses and potentially breaking bones?

No fucking way, man!

Instead, he sits in his warm car and records these kids getting worked by the slick sidewalk for FIVE MINUTES. There’s also some great commentary.

I’m torn between whether this guy’s the early front-runner for Father of the Year 2014, or if he’s cruel and sadistic and his entire family is the exact same way.

The video made me laugh though, so I’m erring toward Father of the Year contention. I mean, all in all, it didn’t appear anyone was seriously hurt. I’d like to believe he would’ve stopped rolling if someone went down really, really hard.

Plus, his narration of the video and his daughter jumping into the car at the 3:30 mark to further make fun of the kids eating shit is hilarious.

I kind of felt bad for the kid who lost all his books, but then I immediately started laughing. Just couldn’t help it.

“Watch this kid, I guarantee you he’s gonna drill it,” he says, as the kid drills it. TFM.

    If it was Dorn video taping these little boys instead of this guy, he wouldn’t be saying “he’s gonna drill it”, he’d be saying “I would drill it”. Dillon, you fucking pervert.

    Not to rain on the parade…
    What if this guy saw this video made by some other douchebag, saw his kids busting their asses on the ice and the d!ckhead that was filming it was laughing his ass off and posting it on web for the world to see. It amazes how irresponsible this douche is. I would have called the school so they can salt the ice and/or put traffic cones around it. I would have stood in front of the ice and warn the kids till someone took care of it. It should be legal to b!tch slap guys like this.

      For real?? Traffic cones???? Psh, when I was younger, I would intentionally go outside to find ice so I can slip around and fall down on it. They are kids. Someone could have gotten hurt and I’m sure he would have felt bad about it…. But nonetheless…. People who sit there on their high horse and say they would go to all this effort to make sure no one fell down on ICE are idiots. Kids be kids, that is what childhood is for. Back in the day, kids would make bottle rockets or set fireworks off in their faces. Now people are all up in arms about kids slipping on some ice and the fact that some man, with the ability to make his own choices, decides to watch? Who cares, back off. It’s a free world.

      No one got injured so in hindsight, it didn’t matter. However, I agree with Norboo to a certain extent. If I had a 12 yr. old daughter that fell and broke a wrist or something, and I saw the video on the internet of this man is cracking up as he watched 5 minutes of kids eat shit, I’d have to murder him.

        In that case, Tuco, you wouldn’t have done that. In fact, you’d be happy the guy was filming, and it would have never hit the internet, because it’d be in the hands of your attorney for you file suit against the school district.
