Dude gave her a metaphorical choke slam with that first question that she was never going to recover from. Then he finally put her away with a tombstone pile driver in the form of simple math
Maybe I’m over simplifying this, but instead of protesting, maybe you can go to class and actually get an education. From there, you can use that education to get a job to help pay back your student loans. I realize that working in an actual job is “hard work” but guess what sweetheart, nothing in life worth having comes easy.
Pick a cheaper college. Nobody said you had to find the most expensive, prestigious university in the country.
It is not unreasonable to get a decent college education for about $8,000 a year, and that’s talking all 4 years at a university, no community college bullshit. Say you take loans out for ALL of it (shitty move) that’s roughly $32-$36 thousand depending on how long it takes you to graduate. Most college graduates are going to make that much in their first year or two of the career they choose. Obviously not every penny they make will go back to loans right away, but to say it’s unattainable to ever pay off loans is ignorant as fuck.
I’d really like to know what bullshit major her parents are paying for

9 years ago at 10:46 amThe problem is student loans are so high that they cant realistically be paid back. So we’re talking about reality and all.
