Yeah, and a manager in Seattle or St. Louis wouldn’t have come under as much heat from the local fanbase for remarks supporting a guy like bin Laden as a manager in NYC or DC would have. Call it a double standard, if you will, but it’s a sensitive subject down there.
Having said all that, the Marlins knew who they were hiring.
