George W. Bush Cracks Jokes, Gives Amazing Commencement Speech At SMU
I never went to my graduation ceremony so I couldn’t tell you who spoke at SMU’s graduation that year. I’m sure it was great, but my dad didn’t want to sit through another graduation ceremony and offered to play 18 with his business partner. Thankfully, with YouTube and other video sites, I can watch great commencement speeches from all around the country.
Yesterday, George W. got the opportunity to speak to the thousands of SMU graduates. He killed it. He gave awesome advice and cracked jokes throughout the whole thing. He even took a shot at how bad our football attendance is. Chad Morris will change that, though.
That cocky grin and the wink after he says the “C students” joke is better than the joke itself. I love it. Bush gets an A+ grade for this speech. Put this one in top five greatest commencement speeches of all time..

Do I have to watch the whole thing?
