It displeases me how people who aren’t from the south have to steal our fraternal dress ways. Come up with your own, ass-licks.

      “Come up with your own”

You mean like Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren, Vineyard Vines, Cole Haan, Sperry Top-Sider, etc. etc.?

      Just dumb.

Proper dress can be imitated anywhere. It’s kind of a universal idea. However I wouldn’t expect people outside of the South to wear boots. Likewise, if you aren’t in the South don’t show disdain for our love of boots because you just won’t get it. If you would like to try it I would maybe suggest a pair of rubber soul Justin’s. They are easy to break in and relatively comfortable for a first pair of boots. That being said I wouldn’t trade my pair of full quill ostrich skin Lucchese’s for the world. A good pair of boots is easily worth its weight in gold.

They are cowboy boots. Cowboys are a Western thing. So they way I see it, everyone from Texas to Montana would be the originators of the trend. People trying to say the south has a monopoly on cowboy boots can eat a dirt clod. I live in the West and have several pairs of boots, but I don’t have any PFGs.
