God Among Men Julian Edelman Is Caught Up In A Love Triangle With Two Supermodels

Julian Edelman was recently in the news regarding a minor foot surgery, and has now been thrust into the headlines for a much more noteworthy reason — it’s been discovered that he dated a Swedish model, and is the father of her unborn child.

From The Boston Globe:

Judging from fans’ reactions at the first day at Patriots training camp, people aren’t all that perturbed by reports that Julian Edelman is facing a paternity suit filed by a Swedish model who claims the Pats receiver is the father of her unborn baby.

The model, who calls herself Ella Rose, filed the suit in LA County Superior Court. We’re told she’s due in October and intends to have the baby — a girl — in Massachusetts. We’re also told Edelman at first contested paternity, but has since acknowledged that the baby is his.

I’m not at all concerned about the paternity case, but what this tells me is that there’s no doubt Julian Edelman has hit the peak of his professional career. This all comes from a little detail at the end of the piece:

We’re told the model, who has over 700,000 followers on Instagram, was upset by photos that surfaced over the weekend of Edelman and Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima walking arm-in-arm on Nantucket.

A Brazilian model. Very interesting. Just over seven years ago, nobody had heard of Julian Edelman. He was the quarterback of a small school and did’t have very high draft expectations. He showed flashes of Wes Welker in his early career before working his way up the depth chart, ultimately becoming Tom Brady’s go-to target and playing a key role in New England’s Super Bowl 49 victory.

We are witnessing a man in the prime of his career right now, the very top of the roller coaster. Take a good look, because this moment may prove to be fleeting. Edelman is 30 now, and in two or three years will probably accept a one-year, $700 deal with a struggling team. But it sure is great to watch a normal guy reach these heights. Godspeed, Julian..
