Going To A MLB Game? Here’s Where You’ll Pay The Most For Beer
Baseball season is back, and America couldn’t be happier. There is now something to do on a random Tuesday night other than hit the bar. You can now make a trip to your nearest stadium, toss back some brews, and yell at Joe West. Unfortunately for us, stadiums inflate the price of beer so much that it makes it damn near impossible to get drunk. I shouldn’t have to takeout a mortgage to enjoy a watered-down Coors Light draft.
Since the season has only just begun, and you may be looking to make a trip to multiple stadiums in the coming months, Business Insider put together a nice graph to show you where you will get the most bang for your buck. Note that these are the prices for the smallest beer available.
I’m really shocked that the Phillies can continue to get away with those prices. The smallest beer they offer is a 21 ouncer, but fans need a gallon of beer to be able to sit through a full nine innings. Where is the outrage, Philly? Regester isn’t too happy about it. He’s already visibly shaken by the idea of watching 162 games where his squad trots out the rotting corpses of once Philly greats Ryan Howard and Chase Utley. Flasks have become his best friend.
The Marlins now sit in the meaty part of the bell curve at $6 (beers were $8 last season). They must have taken note of Fox’s roast of them for having the highest prices last season. $6 still isn’t low enough for me to watch that team play.
The Angels are the most reasonable at $0.28 per ounce. It makes up for the fact that you’re in LA. Go Rangers..

I know for a fact the Seattle price is the happy hour price. So that could hold true for all of them.
10 years ago at 1:13 pmA few months ago? Maybe it was football stadiums pal.
10 years ago at 1:39 pmi go to 10-15 cardinals games a year and a 16 ounce beer is 8.75. The math of a 12 ounce (which they don’t sell) for $5 doesn’t quite work.
10 years ago at 1:13 pmFeel like I read this same “price of beer at stadiums” article a few months ago
10 years ago at 1:14 pmThat was for NFL stadiums
10 years ago at 3:16 pmGo Tribe
10 years ago at 1:15 pmIf the Phillies think I’m paying that much for a beer as I watch a bunch of has-beens flounder around for two hours, they’re sadly mistaken. The least they could do is give me a free cheesesteak and let me throw pop-ups to the right fielder between innings.
10 years ago at 1:15 pmExcept Chase Utley, we’re boys.
10 years ago at 1:17 pm“did you have a good relationship with your father? me neither.”
10 years ago at 2:46 pmI know we’ll be seeing SFPL enjoying these beer prices again this season

10 years ago at 1:21 pmWait for the Cubs beer are we paying for beer or piss?
10 years ago at 1:23 pmIf it’s Old Style then you’re actually getting a combination of both.
10 years ago at 11:40 pmI like the part where he said “Go Rangers.”
10 years ago at 1:31 pmWhy would you want to drink beer at a baseball game when there’s healthier options?
10 years ago at 1:35 pmBecause its beer.
