Golfer Stephan Jaeger Shot A PGA Record 58 Yesterday And Nobody Seems To Care
The PGA Championship is dominating the golf world right now, but not rightfully so. Rather than all eyes being on Baltusrol and the “enthralling” 4-under shootout going on between the always entertaining Emiliano Grillo and ambassador of the sport Ross Fisher (watch out, guys, John “The Thunder From Down Under” Senden is on the move!), we should all be literally and metaphorically sucking the dick of German golfer Stephan Jaeger.
From Golf Digest:
Stephan Jaeger opened with a 12-under 58 Thursday at TPC Stonebrae, recording the lowest score ever shot in a regulation PGA Tour-sanctioned tournament.
“Everything went well. I was driving the ball well. I was making everything. I got the good breaks,” said Jaeger, a 27-year-old native of Germany playing his third season on the developmental tour. “Even the bad shots you’d get a good bounce and have 15 feet and make that. It was just a blackout round, it really was. Those don’t happen too often.”
Here’s the putt he sank to lock down the record for lowest-ever round on either the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, or Web.com Tour.
A 58. A fucking 58. I’m pretty sure I went a whole year of my life never breaking 58 on a 9, and this sweet kraut just did it over 18? I’d quit playing golf right now if I wasn’t so sexually thrilled by the cloak of shame that comes with wormburning a tee shot into the woods in front of three other people. Gosh, I’m getting all horned up just thinking about it. The only other tournament round of 58 on a major tour was shot by Ryo Ishikawa on the Japanese tour, which I just found out is a real golf tour and not the name of a sushi sampler.
Back-to-back 29s? Yeah, I did that the last time I went golfing, too — 29 on 14, 29 on 15 (who puts water right in the middle of the fairway? It’s like they want me to hit into it or something).
Let’s all shut up about the PGA Championship for a few minutes and give Stephan Jaeger a big “prosit!” This is an impressive accomplishment for a guy with over 1/7 as many Twitter followers as me. Consider yourself followed, Jaegermeister.
Now please follow me back..

Impressive. Baltusrol is not an easy course. I’m an 8-10 handicapper and got absolutely shredded at a company tournament there.
9 years ago at 10:40 amLet’s be real. Your sister beat you on this course in Tiger Woods PGA Tour.
9 years ago at 10:48 amAre you dumb? He didn’t do this at the PGA. Also, don’t try to brag about being an 8-10.
9 years ago at 10:51 amWasn’t my intention. Just for context. 8-10 isn’t anything to brag about.
9 years ago at 10:53 amI don’t care.
9 years ago at 10:40 amHe did as well on 18 as I would shoot on 9
9 years ago at 10:50 amDid you even read the article dickhead? Devry literally said that twice. Please do us all a favor and never comment again. Thank you.
9 years ago at 10:56 amYou actually read the articles? I just read the headlines then go straight to the comments.
9 years ago at 10:57 amHe did this on a par 70 course. Meaning on a true par 72 course, he shot a 60
9 years ago at 10:52 amThere is no “right” par for a course. Get your head out of your ass.
9 years ago at 10:59 amA standard championship golf course is set to par 72. Four par 3s, ten par 4s, and four par 5s.
9 years ago at 11:04 amThat’s like saying US Opens at Pinehurst No. 2, Shinnecock Hills, and this year at Oakmont don’t count.
9 years ago at 11:21 amThis guy got 12 birdies in 18 holes in a professional golf tournament. Don’t try to discredit his accomplishment.
9 years ago at 3:36 pmHave him go 58 on a Par 72 and then I’ll suck him off
9 years ago at 10:53 amAt this point, we’ve established that you will blow a guy. We’re just negotiating on the golf score required.
9 years ago at 11:00 amGotta go low
9 years ago at 12:07 pmWith that last name there’s no way he did that sober.
9 years ago at 10:53 amDeVry please tell me the PGA is on at Grandex. Assuming you all have TVs
9 years ago at 11:10 amI care
9 years ago at 12:14 pm-12 is impressive no matter what the par for the course is.
9 years ago at 12:32 pmI make up to £60 an hour working from my home. My story is that I quit working at Walmart to work online and with a little effort I easily bring in around £27/h to £54/h… Someone was good to me by sharing this link with me, so now i am hoping i could help someone else out there by sharing this link… Try it, you won’t regret it!..
