Good News, America’s First Sex Toy Vending Machine Is Finally Here

Two Philadelphia entrepreneurs are making it as simple as ever to acquire sex toys — opening, what they say, is the nation’s first “sex toy” vending machine.

For as easy as it is to grab a Snickers or a Diet Coke, girls can now whip out a credit card, press E6 and have a new vibrator in no time. The machine, which is called PinkBox (I know), will hold a variety of products, including “everything from condoms and cock rings to Lelo vibrators. There are glass dildos, and starter restraint kits.”

Local entrepreneurs Vaughn Sandman and Dean Kitagawa are the brain children behind the vending machine, which they are billing as the first of its kind in North America. They describe the concept behind it on their website: “PinkBox believes that sex should be exciting, fun, and safe. As consenting adults, there is no wrong or bad way to enjoy yourself or each other. … Sex is nothing to be embarrassed about. We all do it (when we can) and we all think about it (the rest of the time). PinkBox is proud to be in the business of helping our customers explore and enjoy their individual sexuality.”

I wonder how fast these will spread to college campuses. A PinkBox in the Student Union? How many sorority girls are going to sneak over to the PinkBox for a late-night treat? Are these machines going to be integrated into society, as well? I predict a PinkBox will be in every American grocery store, next to the CoinStar, by 2018. I can only imagine the horrified parents that are going to drag their children to the neighborhood PinkBox to rent a movie only to instead head home with a variety pack of cock rings.
