Can we please not start this again? No area is intrinsically more American than the other. Both the north and the south have contributed many great things to our country, and America wouldn’t be America without both.

^I’m too lazy to look up the relative GDP’s of each of America’s great regions, but I’d wager that NYC pulls more than its fair share in that category. Why is it so difficult to agree that AMERICA is great, not solely because of the South, North, or any other region, but because of all of them? DAB, I respect your love of your land, school, and state, but you have to concede that America consists of 50 unique states that each contribute to the land we all claim to love.
