There are three reasons to go to college: party, girls, and get paid when you graduate. I’ve already touched on the best schools where you can rage your face off, and the best schools to find the hottest women. However, what I can’t lock down for y’all is what are the best majors for getting the big bucks.

Luckily, Business Insider compiled the top 25 majors who make the most money coming out of college. For all you kids looking to declare your major soon, this list is for you. Spoiler alert: lots and lots of engineering is involved.

    If you do finance and land an analyst position in banking or s&t in NYC, you get the standardized 85k base + 10k signing bonus + end of year bonus at any bulge bracket and most boutiques. I’d suggest s&t, way more fun and 65-70 hours weeks instead of 90.

        It’s all personality fit. Sales needs to get in earlier but they also leave earlier, and trading is more stressful because you have to manage risk. I like structured product trading because the pace is slower and it’s more analytical. Honestly there’s something finance for every type, and the payoff is amazing, no grad degree required.

    You forgot mining engineering which is right up there with Petroleum Engineering median salary wise. Only 200 people per year graduate with the major so its in high demand.
