Here’s Why She Calls You “Daddy” In Bed, According To A Sex Therapist
Sigmund Freud started the theory that says everyone has a natural inclination to have sexual relations with their parent of the opposite sex. So I guess people want to correlate that notion with girls calling their partners “daddy” in the sack. Some daddy issue type shit, I guess. Which is weird. But fuck doctor Vanessa Marin says that’s not why girls use it, which is nice to hear.
From Broadly:
“I’ve heard from a fair amount of men who were turned off by it, and were worried that it was an indicator of ‘daddy issues,'” says sex therapist Vanessa Marin. “Yes, ‘daddy’ can mean ‘father,’ but we also use the word to indicate when someone is the boss, in charge, a protector, or doing a good job. That’s usually the meaning women are going for in the bedroom. It’s a bit of a 70s porn cliche. I’ve never run across a woman who called her partner ‘daddy’ because she genuinely liked fantasizing that he was her father.”
It is also believed that there is a connection between a girl using “daddy” in bed to the sub/dom thing, as in she enjoys submitting to a male authority figure and prefers the more affectionate term of “daddy” to “sir.” It’s more casual or something.
Have you ever been called “daddy” in the sack? Did you like it or did it sound weird/uncomfortable to you? What was your reaction? Are you even good enough at sex to have ever been called “daddy”? I need answers.
Why hasn’t “mommy” caught on yet? Or actually, I guess the Latin version has: “mamÃ.”.

Surefire way to pick up any girl. Grab her right breast with your left hand. Give it a slight squeeze and twist while steering, “Daddy’s Home.” Works 60% of the time everytime.
9 years ago at 5:48 pmWell, she did have my kid and calls me daddy in front of the boy. “Go see daddy” “Go talk to daddy” “Go lay take a nap cause I’m gonna ride daddy like a bucking bull but he’ll hopefully last more than 8 seconds.” (I won’t)
9 years ago at 10:54 pmIn my experience I’ve never run into a woman who was fantasizing that I was her father (a real person they know and don’t want to fuck). Instead, they’ve been fantasizing that I was me and they were my daughter (an imaginary person), which isn’t actually the same thing.
And, yeah, it’s a submissive thing because, duh.
