Hockey Referee Gets Sniped In The Dick By A Beer Can

I’m not going to sit here and act like I know the first thing about junior hockey in Canada. There are so many levels thrown together under that “junior” label that it’s hard to differentiate a glorified beer league from the kids that are actually a shift away from the NHL. My over-extensive and labor intensive research of typing in “QMJHL” into Google left me with the impression that the video we have today is from the latter — not that it fucking matters. It could be the five minute “Mites on Ice” pee-wee segment between periods of this minor league game, you’re just here to see some zebra striped jabroni get hit in the dick by an otherwise refreshingly cold, enjoyable, alcoholic beverage. Well, here you go.

On the off chance you actually want context, the referee, Dominic Bedard, hit Francis Perron of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies with a roughing penalty that put his team two men down. Perron’s 29-year-old brother, Alexandre, took exception with the call and sniped the official from the stands with a nearly full brew. He was then ejected and arrested.

Kind of bullshit, right? Reffing any level of hockey in Canada, I feel like you know the risks going in. If you don’t swallow the whistle and “let the boys play,” you better be ready to have a barrage of LaBatt Blues raining down in your general vicinity.

Also, what an arm on our boy, Alexandre. That was downright surgical precision. If he’s not on a CFL roster by the end of the week, scouts simply aren’t doing their jobs. Forget about the character issues of getting tanked at your little brother’s junior game, this is the type of fiery personality that commands respect in the locker room.

Have you seen his new picture? He’s clearly showing us how much he works out.

Saying you play in the “Q” must be the #1 opening line on puck sluts

Canadian major juniors (The QMJHL is one) are basically the Canadian level of NCAA hockey if y’all were looking for any context. Still, getting enraged over amateur sports is a TDadM.

The Canadian Juniors are better than the ncaa, there is a draft and the players are paid

I was just trying to give a reference to level of play. I doubt anyone really wants me to type out a exceptionally long explanation about the differences.
