Indiana AEPi Brother Wins Free Tuition After Sinking Half-Court Shot At Sammy Philanthropy Event

At Ball at the Hall, Sigma Alpha Mu at Indiana University’s wildly successful 3-on-3 basketball tournament philanthropy (they raised $40,000+ for the Lauri S. Bauer Foundation), there was a side competition where participants had 24-seconds to sink a layup, free throw, three-pointer, and half-court shot. They do all that? Free tuition. $$$.

You already know how this ended up. Despite back-to-back bricks before sinking the trey, Indiana Alpha Epsilon Pi brother Jake Newlander had just enough time left for one Hail Mary of a half-courter when it was his turn.

Drano. Despite the fact that I already knew how this was going to end, I also knew he was going to sink it right when he started backpedal celebrating that first three (an eventual brick) immediately after it left his hands. Such a Swaggy P move.

We appreciate that TFM shoutout from the Sam Dekker lookalike at 0:43, too. Making a buzzer beating half-court shot for free tuition at a rival fraternity’s philanthropy event that raised a shit ton of money? Yeah, that is, undoubtedly, a TFM.

How about having the scoreboard at their philanthropy event read 69-69. Love the move

Instead of profiling someone based on their religion, why don’t you take a step back and look at the philanthropy that he participated in, which raised over $30,000. For the future- I would recommend not being as ignorant, it makes you look like a moron.
