Jordan Belfort is a complete asshole. He’s only paid a small fraction of his restitution requirement back, he sold out his “best friends” to get out of jail time, and he crashed his car through a garage with his baby daughter sitting unbuckled in the front seat. He can do all the cocaine he wants out of his wife’s asshole but is not a fucking TFM
He wasn’t required to pay back everything at once, it was a specific sum of money + 50% of future profits until it reached the amount of 110 million. And instead of giving 50% he is making no money from any of his books or the movie in royalties, instead he’s giving all of it to them which will exceed what he owes. I’m glad you decide that you know someones life by seeing a movie about him while he was a money crazed drug addict for like 5 years
^^^He made $1M off selling the movies rights. After Obama takes almost half, his agent takes another 10% as well as any legal fees, he’ll be left with about $400k from WOWS. Not sure what kinda calculator you’re using but that’s not exactly gonna put much of a dent in his debt, now is it? I guess math is hard for public school grads.
