Jordan Spieth’s Instagram Game Is As Strong As His Golf Game

I realized something today while scrolling through Jordan Spieth’s Instagram account that hadn’t crossed my mind before: He truly understands how to use this particular social media platform.

You aren’t going to ever see a braggy Jordan Spieth. It’s not his style. He is a gentleman playing a gentleman’s game. Even if he were to say something borderline offensive or rude, he would mask it so well you wouldn’t even realize he had just told you off. It’s a skill few professional athletes are able to maintain, but Spieth has been able to do it in his short but successful career.

Except his Instagram. Every one of his posts subtly says, “Look how much better I am at life than you.” It’s true, too. He is so damn better at life than me. Just like every other person who has used social media ever, his Instagram account is all about how good he is — and I freaking love it. Spieth is a God among mortals on the course and in our hearts.
