Prior to the University of Minnesota men’s basketball game on Sunday against the University of Illinois, the team suspended three of their players for breaking unspecified team rules. The three players were leading scorer Nate Mason, and freshmen Kevin Dorsey and Dupree McBrayer. Golden Gophers head coach Richard Pitino was very vague on the length of the suspension or what the players did to get suspended.

From Twin Cities:

“With the privilege of being a member of the University of Minnesota basketball program there are expectations and standards to which we hold our student-athletes accountable, and they have failed to do so.”

Luckily for us, members of the Gopher Hole forums have been investigating what went down Friday night on Dorsey’s Twitter page.

Digging a little deeper into what the videos were, the members claimed that the two videos posted were sex tapes of Dorsey going doggy on a girl in his dorm room.

Huge if true. No word on whether Mason and McBrayer’s suspensions are connected to this incident.

What is it about Minnesota athletics and sex scandals, though? They are always tied to one it seems, like the time we found out the former Athletic Director was sending drunk sexts to some colleagues.
