Last Facebook Post Of Veteran Killed By Drunk Driver On New Year’s Eve Goes Viral
Matthew DeRemer, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, was killed on New Year’s Eve when drunk driver Steven Lee Clarke crashed into his motorcycle. He was 31 years old.
A few days later, DeRemer’s final post on Facebook, an inspirational message about how the past is the past and you should seize the day, gained some traction.

The cultural shift from it being something to chuckle about to a serious taboo wasn’t complete enough to save this awesome guy’s life, but let this be motivation to make a difference.
