It’s week one of spring break and some of you crazy, college kids are blowing off all the pent-up frustration from class by drinking yourr faces off and having dirty, unprotected sex with each other — all the ingredients for a great time. How’s it looking at PCB as the first week is drawing to a close?

It's Week ONE of Spring Break in Panama City Beach. This picture begs the question: Where are the Spring Breakers?

Ohhhh. Not good. It’s a goddamn ghost town out there. I haven’t seen PCB that deserted since Hurricane Opal ripped through. The city’s tourist economy has to be tanking, right? No way that their plea for more families instead of rowdy college kids is going to attract more families. When you’re a family and you’re looking for a beach, you go to Seaside, not PCB. PCB is forever unclean.

In all fairness, only two real schools are on spring break this week: Florida and Michigan. Maybe things will start to pick up in the coming weeks.

Nothing’s more depressing than a 24 year old having to watch a live feed of what things used to be

I live and bartend in PCB at Spinnaker. It is despicable what the council has done to us as Industry employees. We have whole families here that thrive on spring break and the money that comes in. Right now I have already last over 1000 bucks between my lady I compared to this time in previous years. If this trend continues for the month, we will have some serious economic issues down here.

If you are studying employee rights or industry discrimination, we could use all the help we can get. Email me at delay@dennislayden.com

Have a drink for us, wherever you are.

    Cheers.
