If y’all think it wasn’t a great game then y’all are the dumbest people in the world and know nothing about football. I’m sure y’all loved watching the high powered offense/no defense games better. There’s a reason the PAC 12 and big 12 suck. They don’t play defense. So have fun with your spread offense, we will have fun with our national championships.

I agree, defense wins games, and obviously LSU has the better defense in a clutch situation

Why do Alabama and LSU get free passes for having god awful offenses? You can’t insult Oklahoma State’s defense and not insult Bama or LSU’s offense.

Well they have the #7 toughest strength of schedule so apparently some pretty good teams. But, then again, why should I waste my time using statistics to back up my argument? Clearly, saying “OK St sucks, they have no defense, LSU or Bama would put up 858383 points on them” with no legitimate reasoning behind such an absurd statement is the best way to win this argument, as nobody can argue with such foolproof logic.

^this. Didn’t Oklahoma State beat a ranked team for like the 5th time this season last night?

OK State is going to have their mouths shit in by OU like they always do… I’ll talk to you when you can argue otherwise

Who the fuck does Oklahoma State play? You’ve got to be kidding me. I’m sorry you don’t watch football, but the Big VII is the undisputed 2nd best conference in college football. If they go undefeated they more than deserve to play for the championship. OU and UT I’m sure have more championships than whatever school you go too. Which I’m not even sure you go to school DavidAllenBro, you’ve commented on every thread since this site existed.

Who the hell is the big 7? Learn your roman numerals dipshit. And comparatively speaking, the Big XII just isn’t that impressive. The SEC is down this year but still overshadows them.

^Big VII? lol i think you mean BigXII. But the SEC is beyond everybody. LSU and Bama are on another level

Oh and your guess that UT and OU have more titles than Davey’s school….you lose. I may hate them but bama has more titles. Lace em up sport.

I’ll take my lap for big 7 but I go to Alabama so no thanks. Oh and thanks for clearing up that the SEC is better than the big 12 because I didn’t imply that in my comment or anything.

The “Game of the Century” sucked. Both offenses played with the capability of a retarded goat. I watched more of the Ok State and Arkansas games. It was a huge disappointment.

to be fair i bet that retarded goat could complete atleast one downfield pass

haha so true. can someone explain to me how a team that was 2 for 6 on field goals and didn’t score a touchdown deserves to be ranked ahead of undefeated Stanford and Boise State?

^Clearly you only watch “lax.” Who in Gods name has Boise State or Stanford played? Go fuck your face, sir.

^Please tell me who Alabama has BEAT to deserve to be there. Stanford has beat every team that they’ve played including good USC and Washington teams but of course this means nothing to you since they aren’t in your precious SEC. Alabama has a real tough strength of schedule with powerhouse games against teams like Vanderbilt, Kent State, North Texas, and Georgia Southern. I don’t really expect you to understand but that last sentence was sarcasm. Here’s the definition. It spells it out real simple so even someone like you will understand: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sarcasm

Stanford’s first six games were against god-awful teams. The best team they played was Duke. Alabama beat Arkansas, a team that would crush an undisciplined USC and an overrated Washington…Then you guys went back and played OSU, which is like beating a team who can’t figure out if its football season or doorknob humping season. Fuck you, Dodgeball is fucking hilarious. Fuck you, you are an idiot if you think Alabama has played no one. http://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/ranking/strength-of-schedule-by-team

Sadly my wish for both teams to lose didn’t come true. Here’s a thought. Maybe their defense look really good because the offense in the SEC is laughable. Only 1 QB in the top 40 when it comes to yards. Compare that to 10 in the PAC 12 being in the top 40.

Yeah Oregon really sucks on offense. They are cake walking thru the PAC 12 and LSU made them look like a CUSA team. Everyone has seen what SEC defenses do to “elite” offenses. Auburn shut down Oregon last year too and their defense was average at best for SEC. Say what you want, but our record speaks for itself.

Do you always only look at 3% of the total picture to make your arguments? Not that I’m surprised from someone at an SEC “school”

Other conferences are lucky there isn’t a playoff system. The past decade would be a majority of SEC teams playing each other for the BCS title.

  5. Oregon Sucks

All of these arguments are really good. It’s unfortunate we don’t have a system at the end of the season where teams from different conferences get to play each other to settle these debates.

^ I agree. But for now, the championship should be the best two teams in the country, and I still think that LSU and Alabama really are miles ahead of everyone else. They are the best two teams. If LSU plays anyone else in New Orleans, it will not even be a game. I love defensive games, and seeing these two teams fight till the death will be an incredible matchup. I hope we see it again

Lets just put it this way, a mid tier SEC team will beat the best teams in any other conference. Say what you want but I’ll bet bowl season proves me right.

Why can’t LSU be given the respect they deserve after consistently dominating every team? Just like their coach said, he’d be glad to face Bama again.
