I served in the Marine Corps for 5 years knowing full well when I joined that I had the option to make well over $100k annually by the age of 21 as a civilian. Our “American born” President has yet to enforce the deportation of his uncle who has been in the USA illegally for over 20 years. Politicians have always been corrupt, but anyone would’ve been a better leader than that geed.

Do you have any idea how many cowardly soldiers we would have if the military offered attractive salaries? The brave men who serve our nation do so for that reason, to serve the nation. Although they deserve much more, we should take pride in them for defending the United States of America with only what they get.
