LSU Tight End Let The Fans Have It For Leaving Early

The cover photo is from halftime of the LSU-Arkansas game this past Saturday. Nah, not really, but according to at least one LSU player, it was pretty damn close.

LSU’s performance on the football field has now greatly resembled a human bowel movement for two consecutive weeks. An ugly loss to Alabama and a horrendous upset loss to Arkansas was enough to send many of the purple and gold faithful heading for the exits as the latter of the two games started to head south. In response to these fans, LSU TE Dillon Gordon let loose on Twitter and directly called out all of those who hit the exits as the Tigers dug themselves deeper into a hole. For a college athlete, this rant was surprisingly brutal, obviously at the expense of the university’s PR department.

His first tweet, which has since been deleted, was straight to the point: “Worst fans ever.” He only started slinging shit even further from there.

There’s a subtle brag sitting pretty halfway through. Would LSU have not had their will gouged from their ass had the injured tight end and fullback been playing? Highly unlikely. He’s obviously a passionate guy, though, and it’s refreshing to see a side rarely seen from the players who are oft-handcuffed by their public relations offices.

How do you know if they are gonna win or not if you leave in the third quarter? If any team can give away a sure win its Bret’s Razorbacks. Also, fuck LSU.

I’m so excited for another fucking outback bowl. Two weeks ago we were #2 in the country and now our season is irrelevant…………

We always stay for our team. If we left every time we started losing there wouldn’t be any point in buying a ticket.

Instead of whining on twitter he should be training harder and winning so that those “bandwagoners” don’t leave emotionally destroyed by the 3rd quarter

He’s out for the season with a torn ACL, but yea I’m sure training harder would help

Poor, poor LSU player living like royalty with his full ride scholarship, national media exposure and all that campus puss. Time to go on a hunger strike and protest. Poor guy.

How about not talking shit about the people who pay for your scholarship. And pick up a dictionary and some grammar lessons as well.

Just proves once again that blue mountain state has one thing right. Football players get nerds to do their homework.
