It is perfectly legal for a player to run onto the field in between plays without a helmet. Now arguing with the refs is a judgement call, but I have seen way worse tantrums thrown at officials not get flagged. Bitch all you want, but either way, the Lions had plenty of opportunities to win the game. All you have are excuses.

Once when I was younger I approached the referee after a 6th grade CYO basketball game and said I’d see him at 711 after the game where he buys his dinner and his prepaid cell phone. He started walking away and I kept repeating how little money he makes that he needs to referee a children’s basketball game. I blacked out after that comment but I think he got the point.
That was me in the 6th grade, I was banned from intramurals and had no access to my school’s gym for over a year. What I’m getting at is if you’re a competitor, Matt’s reaction is hard to fathom. Or he’s a better person than me, I don’t know.
