If your oxfords don't have buttons on the collar...you don't matter. TFM.

Not to argue more or less fratty, but collars without buttons are more traditional. Although, I would lean towards fratty due to the “button-down” being invented/introduced by Brooks Brothers at the very end of the 1800s.

Button down oxfords are casualwear, if you wear oxfords and not a proper dress shirt with a suit you’re a fucking GDI.

And if you go to App State you’re poor and will continue to be poor.

Button downs without buttons on the collar are by far more dressy. Emily post once advised that no man should wear a bow tie with a shirt that HAS buttons on the collar.

Button-downs refer to the buttons on the collar, there fore shirts without collar button are not button-downs, they are dress shirts. But, I agree, still fratty as fuck.

Say what you want, but the fact that you can sit there and act like people who go to the 4th best public university in the nation(29th overall), are GDI? You SEC kids can do all this shit because you ride your parents coattails all your life and you go to shitty schools that people don’t respect. I’d drink twice is much if I was in your shoes. Work hard for a day in your life and actually earn something. Then you can start talking shit. Til then, get off your high horse.

I would rather live off my parents and go to school in the SEC any day over having to ” earn a living ” and be stuck in the freezing cold GDI wasteland of Michigan. Sucks being rich. Roll Tide.
