It is past time to put in some sort of negative alternative to “nice move”. It would increase user participation as well as give the fucking intern a better sense of what TFM’s should be posted. I know I am not the first to propose these changes, but I sure as hell hope I am the last.
Never gonna happen. It would only make more sense to have a thumbs up/ thumbs down option if anybody had the power to post a TFM, but these posts are all individually selected by the staff. Why would they let you express your disapproval on TFMs in which they think “made the cut”
Well obviously there will never be unregulated submissions because of all the crazy shit that would be said, but if they allow comments to express disapproval, why not humor us all and add a negative alternative to “nice move”. I really don’t see any drawbacks of doing it.
