Milo Yiannopoulos Triggers Safe Space Protestors At Rutgers

Screen Shot 2016-02-11 at 1.31.30 PM copy

Milo Yiannopoulos has made a name for himself by putting feminists and safe spacers on blast. His main argument against them? That college is a time to expose oneself to dangerous and controversial ideas, and by silencing an idea simply because some people deem it “offensive,” we are diminishing the college experience. We are plugging our ears and shouting, “NA NA NA NA I CAN’T HEAR YOU!” when we should be having thoughtful debate.

Milo is a particularly sharp thorn in the side of liberal college students because he contradicts the image they’ve constructed of the prototypical republican. Milo is an openly gay British dude. The far-left has no idea how to handle that, but they took a crack at it during his presentation at Rutgers by standing up, painting themselves in red, and shouting incoherently.

The irony is unreal. Milo gives a speech about intolerance on college campuses. The opposition responds by interrupting a thoughtful discussion to throw a tantrum.

Thanks, protestors, for proving his point for him.

The problem with the extreme left is that their ideas and stances stimulate from feelings and mob mentality rather than actual thought and actual reason. There’s a difference between what we perceive and what is reality and unfortunately for the red faced protesters in this video reality isn’t something they seem to be able to grasp.

How many times did any of the great civil rights leaders storm out of a room shooting the bird?

Because the best way to get someone to respect your opinion is to flip them off

I wouldn’t even bother calling these people the “extreme left”. The shit they’re doing doesn’t really reflect any actual ideology. They just read one Maya Angelou poem or Langston Hughes story and now suddenly think they’re enlightened. I’m willing to bet none of them have taken an econ or poli sci class.

People who believe in this “safe space” movement should be ejected into actual space. What a waste of oxygen.

This is honestly scary the way our country is moving. This is the product of the hippies in the 1960s who could not survive the real world so they had to stay in academia and have been socially engineering society for about 30 years. A country this divided is in serious trouble. Trump may be the only hope in restoring this country. Instead of some backboneless establishment candidate. Man I hope Trump wins if not the PC liberal bullies will get worse and worse

Funny they actually have to piggyback his success to get attention. Do they really believe that interrupting his event makes a difference? Fuck no. But the best way to let everyone know how edgy and progressive they are is to make a scene at an event that people are actually attentive in.

And at that what does this form of “protest” do? Nobody is gonna see this video and think “now that you mention it Black Lives DO Matter.” Please have a healthy debate with me about why you think African Americans are still facing obstacles in this country. Obviously they don’t want that because most of the people involved in the movement bring no actual arguments or substance to the table. And it dilutes the product of the who know what the fuck they are talking about

There’s a lot happening here. Gay British dude, rando chicks pulling a Topanga, “Black Lives Matter” chants, “Trump Trump Trump” chants, and then students going ham af during the whole thing. Gah lee, glad they got that on video.

I think we can all agree that we wish that was sulfuric acid instead of paint on them
