Missouri Candidate Sells “ISIS Hunting Permits”

A republican candidate running for Missouri Governor just declared open season on ISIS. Eric Greitens started selling bumper stickers reading, “ISIS HUNTING PERMIT 2016” on Tuesday. The “permit” expires when “we defeat this evil.”

The mock hunting permits are being sold for a $10 donation. For $100, donors can get stickers signed by a former Navy SEAL who claims he killed Osama bin Laden.

Greitens, a former Navy SEAL officer, tells Fox2 they’ve been a hit with supporters.

“All of these people who are out there, they want to join our mission,” said Greitens. “They want to become part of the team- part of the campaign- and we thought this would be a fun way to let people know about my biography and that we all need to stand together against terrorism,” Greitens added.

The campaign has caused concern among those in the Muslim community. Some fear that people will begin targeting all Muslims indiscriminately. But Greitens says part of the reason he created the stickers was to promote the difference between radical Islam and the peaceful Islamic majority — something he says Obama has failed to do by refusing to hold Islamic radicals responsible for terrorism.

Greitens clarified his intentions behind the bumper stickers:

“The reason there’s this confusion is that unfortunately we have a commander-in-chief who is unwilling to say the words ‘radical Islamic terrorism’,” said Greitens.

“The people ISIS have hurt the most, who’ve been murdered the most, are the Muslim community.

We have a problem not with Islam, there’s a problem with radical Islamic terrorism. As leaders, we need to be very clear there’s a difference,” he said.

But back to the meat of this story. People aren’t going to buy these bumper stickers and start shooting at every brown person they see. I just don’t think the people of Missouri are that stupid *knocks on wood*. They didn’t do that when our “FUCK ISIS” tank flew off the shelves. This is just an aggressive way — a really aggressive way — for Greitens to rally support for a cause every American can get behind: fucking ISIS straight in their dirty assholes..
