As a Protestant Christian, I don’t either. Would some kind Catholic please expel me of my ignorance?

As a Protestant Christian, I looked it up. “Hair of the dog” is alcohol used for the purpose of lessening a hangover.

“hair of the dog that bit you”… Communion = wine = alcohol = “dog that bit you”

So first you blaspheme against Him then you try and take His words out of context to defend yourself? Seriously, geed, get the hell out of here and go to confession.

A: That’s not blashpemy. I’m pointing out that I actually make an effort to attend church even when I had too much to drink the night before.
B: My quote was basically in the perfect context
C: I’m Lutheran so I’ve never been to a confessional in my life and never intend to go to one.
D: Find a fucking sense of humor

Actually Missouri was a confederate state. Geographically you are correct, otherwise very wrong.

You’re a fucking retard. Missouri was never officially a confederate state. The confederacy claimed them but they were actually a dual-government state, one for each. During the Civil War they sent troops and supplies to both the Union and Confederacy, although they did supply the Union with more.

The amount of butthurt in these comments is staggering. This is not blasphemous; the post simply implies that he drank the night before church.

90% of TFMs fly in the face of everything Jesus taught. Don’t get all pious just because he happened to mention communion.
