Mizzou’s Running Back Wanted To Leave His Offensive Coordinator In Arkansas After Getting Shellacked

There isn’t a campus in this nation that has been more embroiled in bullshit lately than our friends over at Mizzou. Their school was taken over by protesters. Two of the top administrators stepped down as demanded. Their head coach announced his resignation at the end of the season, and now one of their running backs let the world know that he would be totally cool with leaving his coach’s ass at a Greyhound bus station in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

It’s not often that players actually speak their mind. Most are too smart to let pent up opinions rip on Twitter. That’s probably lesson two in How to College Football 101; don’t ever bash your own coach publicly, for thou will surely be perpetually picking splinters out of one’s ass. Trevon Walters missed that day of class, though. Surprising. I know.

In his defense, it got ugly.

But according to Mizzou’s team statistics, Trevon hasn’t done a damn thing this year.

And while his grievances are certainly legitimate, it’s always best to wait until the coach has no option but to play you when you decided to publicly admit these feelings, ala Ezekiel Elliot. Regardless, it was a shitty way for Pinkel to end his career..
