New Monsters University Clip Introduces Mike and Sully’s Fraternity Brothers

Monsters University, which hits theaters June 21st, has another new clip out, this time introducing some of Mike and Sully’s fraternity brothers. It’s pretty obvious the story sets up in a sort of Revenge of the Nerds type dynamic, with the lovable loser house rising up from nowhere to win some Greek Week/Cup/Fair/Games/Whatever competition and blah blah blah everyone ends up happy. Maybe this film will have a catch like the first one, like all the monster frat guys figure out that it’s way easier to pick up sorority girls by being gentlemen instead of terrifying and kidnapping them or something?

Thankfully this is a Pixar movie, which means more likely than not it will be entertaining. The voice talent alone in this scene is enough to make the film look promising. Along with John Goodman and Billy Crystal you’ve got Dave Foley, Sean Hayes, and Charlie Day. I like all of those people…except Sean Hayes.

The clip made me laugh a few times, it’s definitely worth a view. I’d also wager this will be a decent date movie, and definitely a film worth taking any younger siblings to if you happen to be stuck with them for the day.

Charlie Day’s voice never ceases to make me laugh. Same with unicorns and dream journals.
