Nick Saban Came In Fourth Place In Alabama’s Student Presidential Election

Nick Saban has a presidential aura about him. He hates losing. He seems to always lead his teams to victory. He can get his constituents to rally around his message no matter what he’s saying as long as it ends with a “roll Tide.” He also has a solid head of hair on him.

Saban didn’t officially throw his name into the hat for Alabama student body president, but the student body knew exactly who they wanted to run their student body and decided to write in the fiery coach on the ballot. Saban received 22 total write-in votes, which accounted for 0.16 percent of the total vote. That was good enough to place him fourth in the election.

Saban couldn’t edge out eventual winner Lillian Roth, runner-up Patrick Fitzgerald, or third-place finisher Caroline Morrison, but the good news is that Saban’s support increased by almost 300% from the 2015 election. Should this trend continue, he’ll be running the SGA in no time.

He beat out some other big name candidates as well. Here are some of the candidates who couldn’t live up to the Saban legacy:

Donald Trump – 4 votes
Bernie Sanders – 2 votes
Kanye West – 2 votes
A ham sandwich – 1 vote
Dwight D. Eisenhower – 1 vote
Quad Squirrels – 1 vote
The People’s Elbow – 1 vote

It’s nice to see that most of the students at Alabama realize how much of a joke the SGA presidential seat is and decided to make a mockery of the election.

I was talking about Alabama the University dipshit. And According to Forbes, Auburn is the best school in the state (which I’m aware it’s not that much of an accomplishment, but still a fact)

Probably because his name’s easy to spell. Mike Krzyzewski wouldn’t get a lot of votes at Bama.
