Nick Saban’s New $130,000 Sports Car Has All His Players Impressed

Alabama football coach Nick Saban is rolling around in a new $130,000 Mercedes, and it looks like his players are loving it.

Saban’s new 2015 Mercedes GT Edition 1 has earned the respect of the entire team — partly because it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, and partly because the man behind the wheel is a 63-year-old, 5-foot-6 football genius.

It’s no surprise that Saban can afford nice things. His new contract with Alabama from 2014 pays him nearly seven million dollars a year. He is also part-owner of a Mercedes dealership in Hoover, a suburb of Birmingham. The new car is the same model that Saban was “driving” in this hilarious Mercedes commercial from earlier this year:
