I just want to throw this out there i love a good party as much as the next guy and I’ve seen a lot of camo parties where people wear military uniform pieces and its whatever to me but when people put the flag on the shoulder it pisses me off. So as a member of the United States Army I ask that when your getting drunk at a party / bar take our fucking flag off your shoulder. Its disrespectful to my fallen brothers who gave their life to defend it.
What’s the difference between someone wearing ACU’s with the flag on that right shoulder and getting drunk while wearing an American flag shirt? I see where you’re coming from, but pick and choose your battles. Would you say the same if Kate Upton was wearing your ACU top and swilling back booze while warming up to you? Regardless, it’s always good to see a fellow Soldier on here.
