^^This. Lincoln would have voted for Obama. He didnt give a shit about states rights and would have saved a lot of bloodshed if he had just said “fuck it, let them secede”. But he couldnt let that happen because the workhorse of the economy was in the south, and had he let them go he probably would have been assassinated anyways during the second revolution that undoubtedly would have happened in the union because of a complete economic collapse. But whatever, were always going to have piece of shit politicians like him and plus we killed more yankees in the war anyways. I encourage anyone who thinks Lincoln or 90% of politicians today are true statesmen to take a close look at what our glorious Constitution really says.
