Penn State Lambda Chi Frat Goat Needs Your Help

Penn State Lambda Chi Frat Goat Needs Our Help

For those of you who don’t recall, we recently ran a story about the Lambda Chi chapter at Penn State and their frat goat named Bella Russe. The 12-week-old miniature goat is apparently widely popular throughout University Park, pulling chicks left and right, wildly jumping around campus, and can even be seen rocking a batman sweater every now and then. Unfortunately, Bella and the Lambda Chis’ need some help to pay for her medical expenses, which I guess their treasurer just failed to budget for this semester.

According to their GoFundMe page, which was apparently written by Bella herself…

For me to get spayed, trained, get the vaccines I need, and to keep my current large animal vet so that I can continue to put smiles on students’ faces at Penn State University Park, I need a little help from the community to pay for my medical expenses.” The page also mentions that Bella got to participate in THON this past year and that she “hopes to be able to participate in many more philanthropic events as well as sporting events here in State College, Pa.

It seems as though Bella not only has an active, but also impactful, presence on the Penn State campus, helping to fight pediatric cancer while simultaneously bringing smiles to many people’s faces. So far the fraternity’s GoFundMe page has only brought in $25 dollars, which, as you might have assumed, is not enough to perform surgeries that remove reproductive organs from animals. While I am sure that the majority of the readers are not brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha, or even students at Penn State for that matter, do it for the goat in her time of need. To donate, CLICK HERE.

It actually is. The goat is female. This guy doesn’t usually swing that way.

Do not, under any circumstances, no matter how desperate you are for attention, adopt an animal if you do not have the money, time, or inclination to care for it. I hope no one contributes to their effort and they are forced to sell the goat.
