Pennsylvania Brewery Changes Beer Drinking As We Know It

If you’ve ever felt your beer gulping abilities were limited by the snap-tops of beer cans (and who hasn’t?), this is for you. The geniuses at Sly Fox Beer in Pennsylvania have revolutionized the way we drink, with the invention of a beer can top that comes completely off. That’s right, folks: the “360 lid.” Sly Fox has introduced this masterpiece on its Helles Golden Lager and plans to expand it to its other beers.

The downside: it’s only available in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York. For everyone living in those places, congratulations, your life officially sucks a little less. Fingers crossed they sell this idea to a brewery in a state with relevant Greek life. I can’t even fathom the drinking games this invention will make possible.

Kudos to you, Sly Fox, for taking your drinkers to second base with their beer.

Despite the worst liquor and beer laws in the country, Pennsylvania’s breweries are pretty legit.

Those damn Pennsylvania Dutch catered the laws around their lifestyle, thwarting thousands of college students from buying beer and liquor in the same establishment.

I am ashamed that none of us could have thought of this before, instead we have to leave it up to FUCKING Pennsylvania…god dammit, imagine selling this patent to Bud, could make millions to spend on strippers and other extra curricular activities.

My instincts are telling me to be skeptical here. I’m not buying that someone along the lines at Anheuser-Busch, Miller, Coke, etc haven’t come up with this before.

Bourbon Blonde and I are going to have a little “sit-down” to discuss this one…

Deke friend of mine has used a can opener to cut off his can lids since freshman year. Try it, it’s worth it.

The can-crush should be saved for the right moment to convey an emotion or to put an emphasis on a point you made. It can be used as an unspoken way to say things such as, ‘this was the last beer’, ‘pregames over lets go to the bars’ or ‘fuck it’ (before doing something that could potentially end with you in jail or the hospital). Also this is stupid idea.
